About
Since I was little, I have always had a passion for art (and birds, but that is another story). From crayons to watercolors and oils to woodblock prints, I nurtured my skills culminating with a BFA in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz. From there I attained a degree in scientific illustration where I learned to thrive on perfectionism.
Armed with my love for details, I freelanced as an botanical illustrator at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA. While there, often referencing my subjects through a microscope, I created many detailed botanical plates later published in scientific journals.
But I love to learn, and so began taking graphic design courses in my free time. In 2013, my creative path led me to the field of tech, where I have been absorbed working as a UX / visual designer ever since.
